Our Market Research company has temporary openings for Telephone Interviewers to conduct research interviews on weekdays, beginning the week of 14 December. For this project there will be two shifts. Typically, day shifts are from 8am to 2pm, with a later shift starting at around 2pm to 8pm. Some interviewers may work an entire 8-hour shift. This project is expected to last two to three weeks.

The starting rate is $10 per hour.

Funding
EHSD will award a standard contract to the selected consulting firm. Total contract is for twelve months. Funding source is from the Department�s Federal Head Start grant for Training and Technical Assistance.

Purpose
EHSD/CSB is the County�s Community Action Agency and Head Start grantee and as such, strives to address issues that contribute to poverty. The successful bidder will provide training and technical assistance in the area of coaching, supervision, delegation, problem solving, team building and professional development, building on previous Bureau wide trainings to broaden the scope and depth of Department management staff skill set. Employees targeted to receive this training include middle and upper level management with direct supervisorial and team leading responsibilities. Approximately 15 to 20 staff will participate in the training over the course of the contract term.

Researchers at the UCSF, SFGH Human Exposure Lab are investigating the effects of air pollution to healthy adults with asthma. We are looking for non-smoking adult men and women, with a history of asthma, between the age of 18 and 55 years old, with no significant health conditions and able to perform four 30 minute periods of moderate to significant exercise. Canine Cove is currently seeking full & part time dog handlers for its Mill Valley location.
We are a 5-year-old family owned and operated business with a passion for caring for dogs in an environment most comfortable for them. We pride ourselves on the very excited return visitors, and the peace of mind we offer to their �parents.�

The shifts currently available include a 5 day a week morning shift, from 6:45am to 1:00pm and multiple �floating� shifts. Floating staff members are trained the same as full-time staff and are alerted when a shift is available to see if they can work. Responsibilities:
Dog handlers are typically responsible for supervising daycare and boarding dogs. Playing with, feeding, and bathing dogs, indoor and outdoor cleaning and some maintenance chores are required. Some interaction with clients, answering phones, and paperwork is also involved. Caring for dogs is a very rewarding and exciting job, however it does involve far more than just �hanging out with the puppies�. You should be able to deal with barking, jumping, dirty, & wet dogs, flying fur and ringing phones. It is very physical work, requires the ability to multi-task as well as plenty of patience, however it�s also lots of fun.

Dog handlers should be very comfortable dealing with large groups of dogs in a loving caring manner, lift 50lbs, and be physically active for the whole shift. Teamwork, and positive attitudes are a must and is a big part of what makes Canine Cove an enjoyable place to work. Along with these qualities you will need to be responsible, honest, prompt, and be able to work independently. This is a long-term position and you should only apply if you can commit to the team and are at least 18 years old. Canine Cove has a great group of dogs and excellent staff members all working to provide a fun environment for everyone.

Must love dogs!!! If you're not crazy about the pooches, you won't like this job. Applicants should be comfortable handling all types of dogs in a humane manner. Previous dog handling experience (Vet Tech, Grooming, Kennel) is a big plus. You should be able to lift 50 lbs. and expect to be physically active for your entire shift. We provide employee training so please be ready and willing to learn. You should be able to work equally well either independently or as a team. Along with a strong work ethic and physical stamina, you must be responsible, honest, patient, prompt and very dependable. You must possess good written and verbal communication skills, a sense of humor and most importantly, a positive attitude. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SOME WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS.

Home Inspectors/Drivers are needed to drive by homes/condos and take a few pictures of houses in your various counties and help us build the Bay Area market. The faster we send our reports in to our Bank clients with your pictures in, then the more work we gain.
