We currently have an opening for a Construction Supervisor who will be responsible for sub-contractor negotiations, purchasing materials for the modification of our current facilities and the oversight of all construction activities.
Carlton Senior Living currently operates nine senior assisted living Communities in Northern California. The growth plans we have developed will require that we bring talent into our Company who can help us accomplish this growth. This is a regular, full-time job where the focus will be supervising the construction projects currently in motion, and handling the purchasing activities associated with those projects.
The things that will help candidates be successful include:
§ Five to seven years of hands on experience with commercial wood frame construction
§ Skill in being able to expedite projects to fast and successful conclusion
§ Skill in maintaining communication between sub-contractors and the Company
§ Extensive experience in purchasing the goods and services required to complete these projects in a timely manner and on schedule
§ The ability to work effectively as part of a team
§ A clear understanding that this is a hands-on, get the job completed kind of position
Successful candidates will need to:
§ Pass a DOJ criminal background investigation, which is required for our industry
§ Lift or move 10 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally
§ Travel to all of the work sites as needed
