I live on Telegraph Ave. and 32nd street. The house is very large and there are about six people (including myself) living here. Everyone has there own room, no couch surfers or shared rooms. Plus my garden will be banging off and you could grip some of its treats, as well. Close to everything and all that jazz (transportation, amenities, groceries). There are two cats living here but they usually stay in the owner's room and don't have free reign in the common areas, if you got allergies.

We have a beautiful 2 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment in the Lake Merritt neighborhood, just 1/2 block from the lake. We are a 12 minute drive into downtown San Francisco and also located conveniently next to several modes of public transportation (BART Trains and multiple bus lines) and a quick walk to Downtown Oakland.
Our neighborhood is friendly, diverse and you are able to walk everywhere...movies, Oakland Museum, several restaurants, cafes, bars, groceries stores, the farmer's market, gyms and even yoga. On a typical day, you will see people walking their dogs, running the lake and just sitting in the sun. Lake Merritt also has a cool night life, with several (wine) bars and cafes that stay open late.

The house is in the Albaycin, the old historical Moorish neighbourhood with narrow cobblestone streets and flower filled terraces and squares, nice walks.
Brand new one bedroom apartment; study and living room, kitchen with oven, refrigerator, toaster, and washing machine, cooking and eating utensils. Living room with TV and Internet access (wifi). Flower filled patio with table and chairs to enjoy the evenings outdoors. Heating and Air conditioning. Buses running every ten minutes. Ten minute walk from the city centre.
We are in Eanes ISD (great schools), so this situation may work with a family wanting to move into the district but still looking for permanent housing.
What we would need is one+ bedroom in a nice, safe area with easy access to South Berkeley; preferably not more than one flight of stairs.
The house has beautiful artisanal furniture and includes wireless internet, a washing machine, fully stocked kitchen, and cleaning service that includes washing and ironing of clothes 3 times a week. The property includes a parking space. The house is on a property with two houses, a big green area and a lot of fruit trees and flowers. The neighbors-landlords are very nice local people. Dogs are allowed as long as they are well behaved and friendly. One garden is closed in order to keep pets in.
We would like a small house- studio with internet in or around the Berkeley area, we have two dogs, which are large, but are well behaved. Ideally we could have an closed outdoor area to leave the dogs when we are out, we are willing to pet-sit and take care of your dogs while we are there if they are friendly with other dogs.
I am 33 and my husband is 41. My husband is graphic designer, directs a traditional street theater group and teaches traditional art to kids.
My former Berkeley landlord (from a prior 3 months scholar visit in Berkeley) will serve as a reference. He also knows our house in Tepoztlan.
