A part-time professional needed in a state of the art, diverse fitness program which includes aerobics, yoga, cycling, kick-boxing, and more! As the Fitness Coordinator you would work closely under the supervision of the Wellness Director to collaborate on branch-wide fitness and memberservice programs, approximately 20 25 hours per week. We offer an exciting environment where individuals with strong organizational skills, creative programming abilities, budgeting and administrative knowledge, and adaptability to healthy fitness trends will grow quickly. Position Responsibilities:
Assist in supervising approximately 50 part-time instructors.
Review current programs and make recommendations for improvements.
Respond to member complaints and suggestions.
Create and edit schedules, and fitness marketing materials
Maintain accurate and timely personnel and payroll systems
Assist in fundraising campaigns.
Adhere to budget of department.
Maintain accurate income and expense accounts.
Skills and Requirements:
Bachelors Degree and Advanced certification
Experience in designing resistance training and aerobic fitness programs
Experience in Fitness Industry
Experience with computers in a professional environment.
CPR and 1st aid
Characteristics that are a plus:
Excellent Communication, especially writing skills
Professional telephone manner
Ability to work with diverse cultures
Flexible
Able to handle multi-tasks
Strong human relation skills
