We are currently recruiting for a hands-on and proactive team member for our System Integration (SI) Team. The ideal candidate will have a solid software developer foundation. Because our SI team members work directly with clients, it is essential that they are able to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.
This is not a dedicated programming position, but an opportunity to work with the Confirmit application platform, developing solutions for clients. With your technical knowledge and expertise, you will extend the available standard functionality using the extensibility and Web Services capabilities of the platform. Extensive product training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
The Confirmit platform is a Web-based development and application hosting platform for online survey data collection and reporting solutions. The software can be integrated in larger application frameworks through its Web Services API's. It can also be extended on a per-system basis without modification of the base platform by implementing and deploying custom .NET assemblies. As part of our SI Team, you will:
Provide consulting and implement online data collection and reporting applications on the Confirmit platform and by integrating the solution with external software.
Analyze requirements, scope, and manage development projects
Conduct technical product and solution presentations
Troubleshoot problems with applications developed by you and other members of the SI Team.
Act as an escalation point for our Customer Support Team and respond to client inquiries; escalate cases to R&D as appropriate.
Follow up with clients over the phone when email support proves to be insufficient.
Qualifications:
The following skills are REQUIRED:
Javascript, HTML, CSS, ASP.NET
Client side techniques: DHTML/DOM, AJAX
Web Services: SOAP, WSDL
.NET, C#
Database technology: SQL Server, ADO.NET
Data communications principles and application level Internet Protocols: HTTP, SMTP
Data security: SSO, encryption standards used over the Web
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Minimum 5 years experience in a Windows enterprise application environment.
