Reporting to our team manager, this role will involve all aspects of IT as the “go-to” person for multiple Linde Clients. While you have regularly scheduled onsite hours weekly with each client, the Linde Team helps each member with support outside these weekly scheduled hours. Your proactive approach with our clients and their technology allow you to have a more predictable schedule. So you get the enjoyment of multiple technical environments and the challenge of each, but in a reasonable work life.
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain great relationships with your clients;
• Maintain and manage hardware and software on desktops, laptops, mobile devices and related equipment in mixed Mac and PC environments;
• Respond to clients’ requests for hardware and software assistance; provide training;
• Maintain routers, switches and wiring;
• Perform troubleshooting, support and upgrades including rebuilds and hardware replacement;
• Equipment and software recommendations and sourcing;
• Research new technologies; provide suggestions for changes and improvements that reduce cost and/or increase productivity and efficiency;
• Develop, deploy and manage IT-related projects as assigned;
• Assist clients when needed, up to and including 24x7;
• Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Knowledge & Experience
- At least three years experience in consulting / contracting style IT service;
- Experience in systems and network design and development;
- Solid grounding in core enterprise applications, including OD, security, and backup;
- In-depth technical knowledge of network and Mac operating systems;
- Strong knowledge of software evaluation principles and practices;
- Proven project planning and project management experience;
- Strong troubleshooting methodology;
- Strong data privacy practices;
- ACSA certification or commitment to achieve certification;
- Windows skills are a big plus!

Strategy & Planning
- Design and implement short- and long-term strategic goals for managing and maintaining systems and software;
- Ensure that proposed and existing systems architectures are aligned with organizational goals and objectives;
- Develop, document, and communicate plans for investing in systems architecture, including analysis of cost reduction opportunities;
- Ability to keep current with Mac technology, conduct research on emerging technologies, trends, standards, and products and make recommendations that will increase cost effectiveness and efficiency.
Operational Management
- Provide onsite, phone and remote support to one or more clients;
- Manage client relationships so that you always know how they feel and they always know why they love us;
- Troubleshoot server and desktop computer problems using technical knowledge and common sense;
- Ensure data integrity and security at your clients;
- Design, develop, and oversee implementation of end-to-end integrated systems;
- Document the company’s existing systems architecture and technology portfolio;
- Document your work and time for the client;
- Share ideas with all members of the team.
