Position summary:
Candidate must have very good grounding in setting up and maintaining heterogeneous wired/wireless computer networks. The candidate must be intimately familiar with all aspects of setting up/monitoring/maintaining and configuring Windows, Mac OSX and Linux desktops and workstations . A strong background in configuring and maintaining Cisco Firewall Routers/Switches/APs is also desired.

• CentOS and RedHat Enterprise/Advanced Linux
• Scripting (bourne, bash, csh, tcsh, expect, etc.)
• Samba
• Postfix
• FTP
• Firewalls and VPN
• BGP Routing and Configuration
• VLANs (Layer 2/3 routing/switching)
• Exchange 2007
• Amazon S3
• Backup (both conventional, remote data vaulting for Linux)
Responsibilities:
• Maintain the existing infrastructure
• Assist in the build-out of new infrastructure
• Monitor systems with alerting tools
• Resolve daily ticket requests
• Share 24x7 on-call duties
Education and Certifications:
• RHCE or equivalent
• CCNA, CISSP, MCP, MCSA and MCSE (one or more of the listed certifications)
• BS/BA Degree preferred
