Our rapid growth has created an immediate need for a capable Maintenance Supervisor.
Position Title: Maintenance Engineering Supervisor
Location: San Francisco / Hayward
BASIC PURPOSE/SCOPE
Directs, coordinates and controls installation, modification, maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance of all plant equipment through maintenance personnel (with the exception of Capital Project Installations). Utilizing good engineering practices in a cost effective manner with minimal disruption to production.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITY
1. Directs, supervises, organizes and coordinates Maintenance department in preventative maintenance, repair and modification of bakery equipment.
2. Develops and reviews maintenance procedures, standards and policies, adhering to federal, state and local laws and codes, as well as Company policies which govern safety, sanitation and labor.
3. Reviews daily and takes necessary action with respect to: breakdown reports, purchase requisitions, accident reports, work orders, and employee performance objectives and evaluations.
4. Coordinates project work between Maintenance, Production, Sanitation, Quality Control and Engineering departments.
5. Requisitions and/or authorizes equipment and materials for Plant Maintenance group.
6. Participates in new equipment, start-ups, and troubleshooting of complex equipment problems.
7. Recommends and/or develops maintenance related training programs.
8. Collaborates in the preparation of the annual budget and operates within the approved budget for the Plant Maintenance Department.
9. Responsible for day-to-day employee relations and meeting department safety objectives, as well as ensure compliance with Company policies and produces and State and Federal regulations.
