Challenging position for a Quality Control Inspector in a growing and stable manufacturing (custom cable assemblies and wire harness) company. Qualified individuals must possess good hand eye coordination, must be self-motivated and be able to read and understand instructions.
Position requires considerable strong attention to details and communication.
Job Responsibilities:
• Performs First Articles/Final QC inspection on variety of Cables/Harness assemblies by following prints, Bill of Materials, wire lists and/or schematics.
• Ability to read and interpret all Engineering Drawings, Bill of Materials, wire lists, schematics and Customers specifications.
• Data entry
Job Requirements:
• 2-3 years recent experience in Quality Control inspection of cable and harness assemblies.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of inspection tools.
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Access database
• Understand and have experience with IPC-A-620 standards
• Experience in ISO 9001:2000 environment
• Experience in machine shop inspection a plus
• Willingness to Cross train in other areas of QC
• Self starter and team worker
• Overtime is required as necessary.
• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
• Must have a thorough knowledge of GD & T
• The ability to work unassisted follow and execute detailed written work instructions in English
• Bilingual a plus ( English/Vietnamese or English/Spanish)
