This is a really nice, 2004 Honda 450R. It is really clean and maintained very well. All fluids are changed regularly, filters cleaned and replaced, and washed after every ride. This bike has an after market Yoshimura complete exhaust and has a jet kit installed. It has skid plates installed that protect the entire underside, as well as an oversized, Baja style front bumper. It also comes with full set of dirt AND sand tires and wheels. It is stored in the garage all the time, and has never been wrecked or beat up. I am not the kind of person who rides hard and beats up machines, but this bike can hold it's own on the dunes and trails. I'm selling it because I never ride it anymore now that I have a Rhino. It's a very reliable, fast, and fun bike to ride. It was mostly ridden at Pismo on the three family trips per year, and every once in a while at Hollister as well. I�m sad to be selling my 2002 Kawasaki Ninja 250, but don�t have the finances to justify keeping two bikes. It has 14,700 miles and has been an excellent bike for around town, riding the twisties, and for several long-distance trips. This was my first motorcycle and I�ve owned it for about two years. It allowed me to build my confidence and skills as a rider, and its maneuverability makes it a lot of fun to ride! It�s a very dependable bike that is light-weight and has a low seat height. Maintenance is simple and it�s fuel-efficient (50+mpg). The title is clean and in-hand. I�m asking $1900.

I have made several modifications to the bike. The front fender has been modified allowing for more tire options. I chose the larger Dunlop GT501s for better traction and handling - they are a little over a year old with a lot of life left in them. I have replaced the oil screen cover with a 2008 model Ninja 250 oil screen cover that contains an oil drain bolt � this mod is great if you want to do your own oil changes. The rear turn signals have been integrated into housings on either side of the brake light. In addition, the previous owner added flush-mount turn signals in the front. The battery was replaced a little over a year ago.

Since owning the bike, I�ve performed routine maintenance such as oil changes, chain cleaning/lube, and cable lube at appropriate intervals. All other maintenance service was done at Berkeley Performance Motorcycle shop (for which I have records).

The bike was dropped on the right side by the previous owner causing minor scrapes to the fairing and denting on the right exhaust (see pictures for detail). Knowing that there was already a little damage helped me to relax when I first started riding since I knew that if I dropped it, I wouldn�t be marring a perfect bike (luckily I never did drop it or lay it down).

It does have the typical oil leak.. but it's something I lived with and could be fixed for not too much.
The engine has already been equipt with the needed bearings to make the engine a true runner for the long haul.

Stock Honda CT 70 skid plate / engine guard and spark plug guard.

The spark guard is actually a brand new replica unit purchased through Classic Honda Products (CHP) and not an OEM unit although it is indistinguishable from stock and again, brand new with no scratches.

The engine guard is in good shape. There are only a couple really small scratches on one of the down tubes.
The bottom of the engine guard has a few dings and dents/scrapes that have been straightened back out so it is not "show quality" but it looks great for the casual restoration and functions as would be expected.

CT70 Exhaust (replica) stock with heat shields (concord / pleasant hill / martinez) $35

This is a replica (Chinese) stock exhaust for the Hondat CT70. It is only a couple months old with only a few hour of use on it. *No* rust, very few (light) scratches on the chrome. In short a real nice condition unit. The exhaust was only manufactured to mount at one point (the shock tower mount) unlike the OEM Honda unit which mounts in two places (also at the motor mount) so I fabricated an aluminum bracket to add back the second stock mount location for this pipe.

Some notes about the pipe:

I enlarged the hole in the rear exhaust mount hanger to allow for more clearance. It is drilled out kind of rough but I just covered it with a washer. It could be cleaned up with a file and painted though.

The welds on the tabs for the heat shield mounts were not of the highest quality and started to crack and rattle before too long so I fabricated an aluminum mounting bracket for the main heat shield also which is attached with a (blacked out) hose clamp around the exhaust. It is real solid now and does not vibrate.

The exhaust has more internal baffles than the Honda OEM unit (I believe that this unit comes with 5 total) because noise regulations in China are much more restrictive now than they were here in the US when Honda sold CT70's. I have drilled a hole through at least three of the internal baffles with a long drill bit. The exhaust is still extremely quiet, in fact I can't tell any difference. I think that it flows a little bit better though. I also cleaned up the internal overweld at the inlet port.

A nice exhaust for your Trail Bike. Good torquey bottom end. Quiet.
I finally broke down and went to a "performance pipe" for more top end performance though I wish I could have my cake and eat it too, I just like the look of the stocker "high pipe".

The other little heat shield for the front of the pipe is included, I just didn't have it mounted on there...

Hello All,

I am selling a goped Bigfoot. I have alot of upgrades including a high performance carb ($49), A bored out top end kit ($79), a carbon fiber air filter with lh v-stack ($29), a jet pro performance exaust pipe w/built in silencer ($148), and a upgraded 800mm spindle($15). It has been garage kept its whole life and has been taken very good car of. It runs really strong and can push 30mph. It starts and runs good and the only thing that is wrong with it is that it dosn't have a throttle cable. This is because when i got the hp carb the cable became rusted and could no longer retract back so the engine would just go full throtle. This Thing used to be my absolute baby, i used to clean it after every ride so it is in extremely good condition. I just kind of moved on from it now so i havnt gotten the cable yet.
