Responsibilities:
We are looking for an innovative and exciting marketer who can find the right mix of messages and offerings to produce qualified sales leads. It takes the right collaboration of creativity and execution to deliver compelling campaigns and we need both – not just a creative mind. This person should have experience working for B2B technology companies and be able to execute direct marketing ROI analysis for all programs. The lead generation efforts will span from sales development campaigns, search engine optimization, website, webinars, events and product awareness and social media to name a few. Campaigns should be executed using all communication mediums including email, online, events, social media sites, direct mail, telemarketing, etc.
This position calls for an individual focused on execution details while still bringing innovative new campaigns to fruition to delivery on goals set by marketing, sales and product management. In addition to lead generation, this position must manage Public Relations, Search Engine Optimization, graphic design and other vendors. The marketing manager is expected to have excellent copywriting capabilities, proactively manage and support the corporate website, SEO landing pages, prospecting emails and sales materials.
The Marketing Manager position will report to the Director of Marketing and will work collaboratively with Exec staff, Marketing, Sales and Product Management to:
• Brainstorm, conceptualize, plan, execute, track and analyze lead generation initiatives
• Develop, draft, polish and edit highly compelling content
• Create semi-technical collateral, datasheets, white papers, case studies, press releases, editorials and sales support documents
• Manage campaign tracking, reporting and analysis to deliver insightful and improvement suggestions for further campaign development
• Write compelling direct response emails, mail and web campaigns to solicit sales leads in concert with the Sales team
• Manage, analyze and create SEO and SEM content, manage the SEO vendor and provide monthly updates
• Manage public relations firm, develop compelling stories, write press releases, develop and manage award submissions entries, find and lock in speaking opportunities.
Requirements:
• 5-7 years professional experience marketing and writing for a technology company
• Degree in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations
• Highly motivated with tremendous initiative and self-direction
• Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts
• Experience with Marketo, LeadLander, Salesforce.com and like products
• Occasional travel required
