We currently have a job opening in our Engineering Department for the position of Repair and Maintenance Technician. (Job #MCE 472-CL)
The Repair and Maintenance Technician will provide a service to our grocery stores performing and coordinating repair and maintenance activities on assigned equipment and in assigned stores.
This position will cover the Livermore/San Ramon/Castro Valley area.
Job Description:
- Perform repair and maintenance as requested by the company, fire, health, and other safety departments
- Coordinate and schedule for outside services
- Assist with construction and maintenance related to new store openings, remodels, and resets
Requirements:
- One year experience in maintenance or a related field
- Experience with electrical, plumbing, and other trades involved with store construction
- Experience with the use of hand tools, light power equipment, and rough and finish carpentry
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Good organizational skills
- Valid Driver's License for frequent travel
- Retail store equipment, food processing equipment is preferred
