Landscape Technician:
Philco Building Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a skilled, self-starting, and dedicated Landscape Technician. The landscape technician is responsible for maintaining all landscape areas which includes: lawns, bushes, trees and bedding areas.
Some Responsibilities include:
Landscape technician duties can typically include:
Mowing, edging and fertilizing lawn areas.
Trimming bushes and pruning trees.
Performs irrigation repairs.
Assist with unloading of work trucks.
Assist with site set up of plant materials.
Performs manual work such as digging, raking, sweeping and heavy lifting.
Maintain job site staging area clean and organized.
Assist in keeping the job site tidy, organized and safe.
Use all installation tools according to company safety policy.
Operate blower for cleaning sidewalks, and parking lots.
Hours and Days of Work:
The position is a 40 hour a week full time position Monday through Friday.
Knowledge of:
Function of and skills in safe use of tools such as shears, hoes, standard size lawn mowers and chainsaws.
Planting techniques.
Proper method of operating motorized equipment.
Special Requirements
Possession of or ability to obtain:
1. A valid state drivers license with no active violations within the previous year.
2. Valid car insurance needed.

Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday.
