Leading Automotive Retailer is seeking an HR Generalist to fill an immediate need! The successful candidate will be responsible for administering the company's human resource policies and programs covering recruiting, employment, training, employee relations, safety, worker's compensation and employee benefits.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Source and screen candidates for open positions.
• Administer the hiring process to include employment selection process. Ensures completion of required pre-employment testing (MVR, drug test, background verifications), and new hire paperwork.
• Conducts new hire orientation for all new employees.
• Administration of company benefits programs to include; 401(k), medical/dental/vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, Flexible Spending (Section 125) and other voluntary benefits.
• Ensures required training is completed timely.
• Administration of worker's compensation, FMLA and other leaves of absence.
• Administration of employee terminations.
• Act as lead in the assembling of materials for settlement conferences, mediations, arbitrations, unemployment hearings, Labor Commissioner Complaints and lawsuits.
• Conduct investigations in accordance with laws, rules and policies.
• Maintenance of Personnel Records, HIPAA, and record retention compliance.
• Provide support regarding employee relations.
• Administration of safety & worker's compensation program.
• Maintains safeguards of confidential company information
