A local medical group providing hyperbaric therapy for >20 years is recruiting a part-time certified hyperbaric technician to join our team. The job location is in an acute care East Bay hospital.

Job Level: Part Time, 2-3 days per week, Monday-Friday
Education: CHT certificate, BLS, Healthcare experience
Job Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; excellent telephone manner
Professional manner with high degree of courtesy and sensitivity
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provision of routine hyperbaric treatments under direction of RN / HBO physician
Obtaining vital signs, routine testing, and participatiion in performance of basic wound care
Assumption of lead role related to higher skilled duties related to HBO, transcutaneous laser/Doppler vascular flow studies
Patient transport, equipment cleaning/disinfection
Assessment/interpretation of patient data and ability to discriminate between normal and abnormal finding
Shall meet clinical competencies as indicated on the skills validation list
