TREE SUPERVISOR II

Outstanding opportunity for the right person to manage and lead a team of dedicated and experienced employees responsible for the management of the City’s urban forestry program. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will assist with budget preparation, enhancing operational efficiencies and preparing reports for the City Council and Executive Management Team. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of tree inventory systems, master street tree plans, urban forest management plans, urban forestry and tree ordinances, tree policy manuals, grant writing and administration and working with volunteer organizations. At least two years of experience in a supervisory capacity and compliance with OSHA regulations for urban forestry operations are preferred.
