9/27: Troubled by Someone's Drinking? (fremont / union city / newark)

Do you worry about how much someone drinks? Do you feel like a failure because you can't control the drinking? Do you think that if the drinker stopped drinking, your other problems would be solved? Do you feel angry, confused, or depressed most of the time?

If you answered Yes to any of the above questions, you are invited to join the Fremont/Union City/Newark branch of Al-Anon/Alateen Family Groups at our "Day In Al-Anon" event to be held on Saturday, September 27, at Calvary Chapel 42986 Osgood Rd. in Fremont. There will be workshops throughout the day on such topics as "So You Love An Alcoholic," "Men in Al-Anon," "My Child is an Alcoholic," "Conflict and Resolution," "Humor in Recovery" and speakers from Alateen, Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon. The suggested donation of $20 includes lunch and snacks, but no one will be turned away.

Join us for a day of fellowship, recovery, workshops, food, fun and prizes! The doors open at 9am with registration and Yoga. Workshops are from 10am to 2:45pm with speakers from 3:30 to close at 6:30. For more information, email for a copy of the flyer. For more information about Al-Anon and Alateen, go to
