We are looking for the newest member of the interactive team that supports the marketing department. We need someone who is an expert in front-end web development, with just the right combination of a designers eye, CSS and XHTML expertise, and scripting proficiency. The job will also require someone that can work independently as well as collaborate with other members of the web development team. Candidate should also be able to juggle multiple projects and complete deliverables in a timely manner.
Job is a contract position for 30-40 hrs/wk with a mix of telecommuting and in-office work. Local candidates only please.
Primary job responsibilities
Develop CSS and XHTML templates from scratch
Accurately "translate" PSDs into XHTML templates leveraging CSS
Utilize Photoshop to crop photos
Utilize JavaScript, AJAX and jQuery to implement functionality required in designs
Qualifications:
Self-starter and can work well independently and as part of a team
Minimum 3 years of experience with HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript
Must be an expert at CSS and stay current with all web standards
2+ years experience in Microsoft .NET technologies (ASP, Visual Studio, VSS)
Need to be very knowledgeable with all popular browsers and their quirks and how to code for them
Must know what semantic XHTML, doc type, and reboot stylesheets are and their uses

Implementing for usability and accessibility on the web
