If like many parents you decry the canceling of manual arts classes in the schools, we sympathize. We believe that teaching kids how to use their hands, how to see what they are working on, teaches them more than which end of a hammer to hold. It teaches industriousness, creativity, eye-hand coordination, and problem solving,

Our small class specializes in teaching kids how to use the knife. We teach knife cutting, knife whittling, knife sharpening, knife safety, and simple wood carving.

At the end of the class your kids will not view a knife as a dangerous weapon to be afraid of, but a very useful (some say the most useful) single tool.
