Drawing is intimate, immediate and requires few tools. A good drawing depends on a combination of good observation, a sense of play and personal invention. Embark on an exploration of those 3 elements by studying different techniques with a variety of black & white media and an assortment of subjects. Ages 15 and older, if you are just beginning your artistic journey and/or want to re-visit basic principles about picture making, this class will set you on an exciting path of line and value. Demonstrations and individual help. Please bring a sketch pad and pencil to first class. Materials list given during first class. Meet each Monday from May 11 to June 29, 6:30 to 9:30pm.
