Saturday, May 16, 2009, 12:30 begin with many others mimicking the moves of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" to upbeat your mood, facilitated by a multi-talented Studio One artist. " At the conclusion about 1:45, children ages 4-6 can be taken to a painting room from 2:00-4:00 greeted by a Studio One painting instructor, to enjoy creating art using various materials. In another art room from 2:00-3:30, a Studio One Jewelry instructor will guide children 7 and older on how to weave color wire into works of art. During the same time, in another art room, supervised by nother instructor and perhaps a professional chess player, teens and adults can engage in playing chess with one another. For adults who rather have their minds sparked another way, sit in the Great Hall and absorb not only your lunch but a reading from literary artist Beverly Naidus's latest book "Arts for Change: Teaching Outside The Frame" From 3:30 -4:30 tour Studio One Art Center's Ceramics Sculpture studio, the Gas Kiln, B/W Photo lab, the Metal Arts Jewelry Room, Glass Studio and the Upper Great Hall where you can imagine yourself easing into yoga positions, or having some sort of party in it or in the First Floor Hall with it's adjoining Kitchen or Theater Event Activity # 52632.401 Suggested Donation $5
