The ideal candidate will be responsible for calling all the plays, including:
•Generating purchase orders to meet stock replenishment requirements.
•Maintaining purchase order confirmation system to verify pricing accuracy.
•Expediting product delivery from manufacturers to stay within agreed lead times.
•Maintaining accurate product specifications in purchasing system.
•Evaluating product promotions and maximize forward buying profits.
•Maintaining a minimum fill rate of 97%.
•Maintaining a minimum of 18 annual inventory turns.
•Tracking company rebate performance.
•Developing programs to increase rebate revenues.
•Increasing gross profit through effective purchasing practices.
