Summary
The Billing and Credit Manager is responsible for managing all billings and collections - related functions to ensure that Ask.com receives payment on all client receivables. The manager must establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and internal departments through a high degree of professionalism and excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
Responsibilities
* Manage staff of 2 – one billing/cash app and one credit
* Manage collections for a 1,500 row aging .
Make credit decisions on pending orders, closing accounts, and extending additional credit to existing customers based on departmental process guidelines.
* Manage staff on researching and resolving disputes impacting collections.
* Work with management when accounts reach certain levels of delinquency to determine next step in collections efforts. Experience with bankruptcies and outside collection agencies
* Ensure that staff follows procedures for SOX purposes
* Other duties as necessary.
Billing/Cash App
* Manage billing and cash applications analyst.
* Work closely with business partners to ensure accuracy and completeness of billings
* Monthly reporting
* Experience with revenue reserve analysis
Required Experience
* 3 to 5 years of credit management and A/R experience
* Experience with Oracle 11 A/R module preferred
* Internet & Agency collections experience preferred
* MS Office – Outlook, Excel & Word
Technical Skills
* Reconciliation skills
* Strong Excel & Word
* Understanding of the basic principles of accounting
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
* 4 yr Degree
