Scope: Perform web page scraping on a nagios result page and base on the results, reports "green", "red" or "yellow" status on a separate web page that the user can view via http.
Requirements: You will build a program that would run a windows 2003 server. It will run under IIS or Apache. However, you must build an installer to set up everything or provide me detail instructions on how to install it.
The program you write will be scraping is a nagios service status page on a different server via http, and then display the red, green, yellow status via the local webserver. I will provide a screen shot of this page. You need to provide a couple of configuration files where I can customize a few things.

1. Customize the url for the remote nagios server's status page
2. Customize the local webserver's home page heading. For example I want to be able to change the heading of the home page like " ABC Company's Site Status"
3. The 3 lights on the home page "red" "green" and "yellow" , allow me to change the text in each light. So, I can put something like "all health" in the "green " light. , or "site degraded" for "yellow" light.
4. Each light should be very big, at least half of the screen. An each light should come on, one at a time. Meaning if the site is green, only show the green light.
5. Custom configuration that allows me to set the condition for each light status.

The page you scraping will have 7 columns of text.

Host, Service, Status, last check, duration, attempt, status information. You need to give me a simple way, maybe just a text file where I can easily define multiple conditions that would set the local webpage to display green. For example,
If "http_check" shows up at more than 6 places then change site status to yellow
Or
If "http_check" shows up at more than 4 places and each of them under the column "duration" shows more than 30 minutes, then change status to red
If could also be as simple as if "machine_abcd" shows up under "host" anywhere change status to Red

I may setup up to 10 to 3o of these conditons. You also need to allow me to sort these conditions. Meaning if there are multiple conditions, the one that is on the higher of the configuration list wins.

We have an event planned for next week Feb 22-24. It's a workshop at the Fort Mason Center. We'll have speakers presenting w/ slides to an audience.

We'd like to both stream live video from the event over one of the services (Justin.tv, Ustream, BitTorrent LIVE, Livestream, which?), without paying $100s of dollars for subscriptions to a service we'll only need for 3 days. I'm looking for an experienced MIDI/USB Keyboard Controller Whiz who'd be willing to spend some time with me, and show me some basics (for starters) on how to use the new Alesis QX49 I bought.

Of course they don't have a manual (I've looked) and the quick start guide isn't very helpful for a novice like me.

I'm self-taught on the piano and have 30 years semi-pro vocal experience, and I've also taught myself to use a lot of software (I use a Mac). I've worked in the recording industry so I'm familiar with multi-track recording, etc. I'm quick to learn and understand the theory behind what's going on here, but this thing has me stumped.

I have the itch to start making my own music again, but I need a guiding hand to show me how to assign a rhythm to a keypad so that when I tap it, it plays what I expect it to -- and so forth.

I've been able to get some fun noises out of it with Garage Band (and I have other music/recording software), but to get where I want to go (live performance), I could really use your help.

Im new to the area, and new to cnc's and im looking for someone who can help me get my machine up and running.

Its a 1985 Kitamura Mycenter4 with Fanuc 11m controls. I purchased it last August from Machinery Exchange in LA and it was working.

Its currently powered up but is throwing some codes and im doing my best to diagnose them but since i have never seen a cnc up and running let alone this one im running into a steam learning curve. I could also use recommendations of local tooling stores and places to get materials and supplys.

Once i get this thing running I'd like to find someone part time at first then full time later to run this machine with me.

Immediate need for help with an installation / integration project for the SFPD on 17th in Potrero Flats area between Potrero Hill and Mission District.
We'll be running cables from workstations to servers, assembling LCD screens, mounting hardware to walls, mounting LCDs to mounts, trouble-shooting system, running multiple feeds and sources.

Please have experience in building PC's, tech support, be detail-oriented, fluent English with AV experience as a big plus. We'll control multiple screens, multiple feeds in 3 locations from 12 workstations.
This includes LCD's, projectors, multi-screen workstations, sound system and several access levels.

Ideally we'll start on Monday morning (Feb 13) running cables. You need to be able to lift at least 60lbs easily and have a gentle but firm touch for installation. Pride in your work is a given.
Must be able to pass security clearance for access to job site.

This gig should last a couple of weeks. Future gig potential for the right person - as we have several other jobs coming our way. This gig is at least 1 week in duration and maybe longer.
