ASTRAEA (star maiden) was my home for 10 years, but now I've moved onto another boat, and she is for sale.

There is no engine - this is a sailboat, so you will either need to know how to sail, or else add an engine.
(The main sheet is attached aft of the tiller, rather than on the coachroof, for easy single handing.)
If you do need an engine, an outboard would be most practical, though a couple of people are contemplating adding an electric motor.

The low price I'm asking reflects the need to do some fixup - paint shelves, add trim, add lining to some of the interior, connect the water tank to the foot pump.

Aboard is an office sized refrigerator and a microwave oven. There is more storage space - shelves and cabinets - than most boats this size.
The galley and forward sink area are both tiled in matching Italian tile.
The head is Coast Guard legal - it goes only to a holding tank, no overside discharge.
There are AC electrical outlets throughout - a total of five circuits.

The oversized mast and boom allow for a larger than designed sail area - great for Southern California. Here on the bay, I've been sailing her with a fully battened 3/4 sized main and the working jib. There is also a full-sized main and a genoa for lighter winds. (The main sail has the number 33 on it, suggesting it was from a 33' boat.) The mast is tabernacle stepped, so it can be lowered without having to go to the boatyard.

This is a 2.5 HP motor.
I bought it from someone about 2 years ago, started it when I got it (it started perfect), then stored it in my house since then
(I ended up buying another boat and didn't need this motor). I started it up the other day, it ran fine.
It basically looks new, I don't know if the previous owner ever used it.

i have a 95 kawasaki xi 750, and a 92 kawsaki ss 750 jet ski. both are in good condition. the 95 xi is a dual carb model and is very responsive. the 92 ss had a top end rebuild about a year ago with new cylinder, pistons, rings, and head(it has only been riden 2-3 times since the rebuild). they both run well. the ss is a little bit cold blooded. the xi seat is faded but intact. they both have a fair amount of scratches and knicks in them(thanks to the previous owner). they have been used very lightly over the past 5 years. they come with a double trailer which is fairly rusty but has new tires and the wheel bearings have been repacked. they both have a top speed of about 52 mph. they are alot of fun and you can enjoy the lake without the 15k price tag of the new jet skis.

Here is the deal-I intend to use the boat as a motor boat to Angel Island and back to Sausalito. No rig needed.

Ideally, the boat would have:
-relatively fresh bottom paint
-pop top with canvas
-shoal draft or swing centerboard/keel
-clean interior
-notch in transom for an outbo
-trailer not a deal breaker but would be convenient
-engine optional as I will be putting a four stroke on it, maybe even controls in the cockpit, depending on engine access and placement.

Something along the lines of a Cal 24 flush deck, Catalina 25, MacGregor 25, etc. I understand that I will probably not find all the desired requirements in one boat, but if you have anything, generally along these lines, pls let me know. I do NOT want a trashed/project boat.
If the boat has an engine well, it must be big enough to tilt a four stroke completely out of the water.
If you have anything, pls let me know. Small catamaran or trimaran would do well also, but must have a cabin.

I have a Catalina 22, swing keel, pop top, trailer, etc which works great, just want a little more room.

One left and one right hand rotation. In good condition other than some minor pitting on the left hand prop.

Reducing pitch from the original 32" didn't make these props workable for the boat, so they were replaced.

Rare 2" shaft bore and taper which, if ordered on new props, would require at least several weeks and extra charge to obtain from the manufacturer. They can be bored out for a larger shaft.

$1,500 each, $2,500 for the pair.

Partial list includes: complete epoxy bottom completed in July 06/08over 10K in expense, recent re-rigging, Perkins- diesel, complete Sunbrella canvas cover (never used) to cover entire boat, central diesel heater, over 3k $ Pur water maker, dingy davits to include 9'6" Zodiac, numerous sails, fully battened main and spares, self furling genoa, spinnaker, (rarely used), hot water heater and shower, three burner stove and oven, (never used), full instruments to include chart-plotter and remote stearing, Radar, VHF, Kenwood stereo with newer speakers. Will also include everything to make this an easy boat to transition to such as life preservers, dock lines and electrical. Also did I mention 8 month old 2000 watt inverter, (converts 12 volt to 110 to run the microwave and whatever else at sea). Upgraded and added additional keel bolts, Brand new (over $1,300) v-berth custom made mattress, sleeps like a dream. All brightwork just re-finished with 5 coats to include boat has been waxed and detailed and will have bottom cleaned, (done on a regular basis) and zincs replaced next week. Gas barbecue, (never used), Richie Compass and wheel. New Windows, teak and holly cabin sole as mentioned too much to mention but ready to take you wherever...
