i am trying to make some money on the side and enjoy my hobby (which is also my job) at the same time.

i can build you Quite the monster, a Bare base with just the speaker(s) mounted on wood or metal, LEDs in various colors, or just a simple and neat black enclosure (but why would you want that if you can just buy that in the store) go crazy come up with something creative.

i am looking for abstract things that i wouldn't happen to come across regularly, or perhaps services if you are good at something.

i enjoy making the post apocalyptic type hi tech/primitive look, using wood, metal, and primitive switches, lots of copper for show, but still remaining the high quality fidelity and function.

At one time I had a great job and great income. So, I decided to buy a tear down house in Los Gatos to build a dream home. I had a contractor friend that was going to help me at cost. Our deal was that once the house was built, we’d have it appraised and I’d pay him 50% of the profit, keep 50% for myself, and move into the house. Needless to say, our relationship went south. He bailed without ever doing any work and I was stuck with the house, since it was financed in my name. I had no idea what to do…this house is not even habitable. Oh, and did I mention I got a really bad loan because our plan was to quickly get plans to build the house and then refi into a construction loan? Of course, none of this ever happened. So, the house has sat empty for two years. In the meantime, the real estate market has taken a real down turn, my income is a fraction of what it was, I’m not able to refinance out of the really bad loan, and I’m not eligible for a construction loan….. I’ve tried to sell the house, but because the loan is so bad, I owe more on the house than the house it worth. At this point, I’m doing good to make the payment every month.

I found someone to help me draw up plans, and everything is just about complete with that. Now I need to start finding people that have the skills to help me build the house, with the hope that they will volunteer and/or barter with me. I will need everything – electrical, plumbing, foundation, landscaping, concrete work, windows, materials, cabintry, framing, everything….

Please do not flag my post, because this is really my last resort. And frankly, it’s quiet humbling to be in such a position as this. I'm just hoping that I can save my credit, save the house, and have a place for my children and I to live.

I can barter for airline miles, travel planning services, marketing, public relations, graphic design, gift cards, pizza, beer, event planning, web site, video services, just about any creative or marketing service.

I'm interested in trading one or more of my large abstract paintings for a respectable automobile.

My latest (pictured below) is on a canvas that I hand built and hand stretched and has a golden mean ratio

Rebuilt 318 motor less than a year ago...maybe has 6-700 miles since has been rebuilt. Converted from 2 barrel to 4 barrel carb. Engine is clean. Oversized tires. All time 4 wheel drive. Body is is good shape, not much dents, some surface rust but can be easily sanded off when ready for paint. Has origianl paint on it, Yellow and its fading. The other two are 4-container candy machines, take 25 cents. One is almost brand new and one is alsmost brand new except for the fact that it has some candy in it already. The candy is old, so probably throw it out. These two don't have keys, it's about $20 or so to rekey them.

All 3 are probably worth somewhere in the neighborhood of $150 or so, would like to trade for items of similar value. Will consider offers for whatever you got, but here is a short list of some of the things I'm looking for, just in case you happen to have these sitting around:

Did your car or truck fail a smog test?

I can help.

Always ask for a smog "pretest" if you have any doubts.
